About the kits
What exactly is included in a kit?
Each kit contains all the materials you need to make the jewelry: beads, pearls or other components, wire or cord, a clasp and optionally small parts such as connecting rings. There is always an instruction card with a QR code that leads you to the video guide.
Tools such as wire cutters and pliers are not included as standard in a kit and can be ordered separately.
Do I need experience to make a kit?
No, absolutely not. Our kits are specially designed for beginners. The step-by-step video instructions guide you through the entire process. If you follow the instructions, it will always work out, even if you've never made jewelry before.
How long does it take to make a piece of jewelry?
Most necklaces are ready in 30 to 60 minutes. This depends on the specific model and your own pace. You'll find the estimated making time per kit on the product page.
Will I know in advance what the jewelry will look like?
Yes, always. At CraftYourJewelry you can see exactly what the end result will look like on the product page. You're not buying a surprise. You know exactly what you're going to make and wear.
Do I need any extra tools?
That depends on the kit. Most necklaces can be made with just your hands. For some kits, a pair of pliers is useful. This is clearly stated on the product page. We also offer a set of three pliers as an addition if you don't have them at home yet.
Is a kit also suitable as a gift?
Absolutely! A CraftYourJewelry kit is one of the most original and personal gifts you can give. The recipient makes the jewelry themselves and then wears something they made themselves. Extra special. The kits are delivered neatly packaged, perfect for giving away.
Instructions & QR code
How does the QR code instruction work?
Each kit contains an instruction card with a QR code. Scan the code with your smartphone camera and you'll be automatically redirected to the guide for that specific piece of jewelry. You don't need to download an app, the instruction page opens directly in your browser.
What if I can't scan the QR code?
No problem. You can also open the guide directly via the link on the instruction card. Type the URL in your browser and you'll arrive at the same instruction page.
Are the instructions also available in English?
Yes! Our instructions are available in both Dutch and English. Simply scan the QR code and select your preferred language on the instruction page.
Ordering & shipping
How long does delivery take?
Orders placed are delivered within 2-5 days. In most cases we ship as a letterbox package, so you don't need to be home.
What are the shipping costs?
We charge shipping costs depending on location. Order price above the threshold? Then you receive free shipping.
Can I track my order?
Yes. After shipping you will receive a confirmation email with a track & trace code so you can follow your package.
Can I cancel or change an order?
If your order has not yet been shipped, we can cancel or change it. Contact us as soon as possible at info@craftyourjewelry.com. Please include your order number.
Returns & payment
Can I return a kit?
Yes, you can return an unused kit within 14 days of receipt. The kit must be in the original, unopened packaging. Contact us at info@craftyourjewelry.com for return instructions. Return costs are at your own expense.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept iDEAL, Klarna, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Visa, Mastercard, American Express. All payments are processed via a secure connection.
Is paying safe?
Yes. All payments are processed via a secure SSL connection. We do not store payment details. This is handled entirely by our certified payment provider.
